A short novella bordering around a highly respected and liked elementary school teacher in Tampa Florida named Darla Nixon who believes she may have run over one of her best friends son when she heard on the news the next day. She thought she hit a bag of trash that was on the street where the high wind had knocked over numerous trash cans. Years after the accident the young mans mother Marie is arrested and she confesses that it was intentional. Another excellent read in this series but a heartbreaking one. My highest recommendation!! Enjoyed immensely!!
