Spicy paranormal suspense romance
#11 in the series, Monster’s Bride continues the tales of the magical students of the Blackthorn Academy. Filled with monsters, witches, and all sorts of creatures, each tale is unique and written by one of several authors.
Monster’s Bride tells the tale of Sera, a witch, and Rhys, a Gargoyle shifter. Rhys has loved Sera from afar but he has an expiration date, so he’s never approached her. One day, he saves her and the attraction between them is impossible to ignore.
I really liked this story but I thought it was a little drawn out in the beginning. There’s plenty of spice and the characters are amazing, as in the entire series but I was anxious for the unspicy action to start.
The second half of the book flows much better, and the romance and suspense keep the reader engaged.
An amazing series, Blackthorn Academy won’t disappoint.

Fun
A fun read about Sera and Rhys. Was fun to watch it all play out and see how a witch with a ex and a gargoyle get together. Had to see what they would face and overcome along the way. Enjoyed the story and characters and returning to Blackthorn.
