The writing in this book is AMAZING. It is hard to put in words how great it is. The series is very underrated and could be considered a classic if given the chance
Emotional Roller Coaster
I love this book series, it keeps you on your toes the whole time and is a truly rare specimen. This is one of the only book series’ that has left me reeling after EVERY chapter. A constant transition from to relief to fear to happiness to horror at what has just happened and what will happen next. This book starts out a bit slower than the other two books, but it was just as good for so many reasons. In a way, this book messes with your emotions even more than it’s predecessors. GO READ THIS SERIES RIGHT NOW. You will love it and you WILL NOT be able to stop reading from the moment you start to the moment you finish the last page. Then you will move to the next book because the suspense is so intense that knowing what happens next cannot wait. This is my absolute favorite book series. Read it and weep because you read it so fast that it was over before you know it and you already want to read it again. Thank you Patrick Ness for this amazing series and the many ruthless moments in these books that left your readers dumbfounded by how quickly the scenes changed and heartbroken by the result of these shifts.

I absolutely am in love with this serious. Patrick Ness does something that most authors can’t, he paints the perfect picture and really connects you to the character every bit of the story is amazingly written.
