Publisher Description
I hadn't been looking for a mate, but I will keep her now that I've found her.
***
My mate died, but somehow, I survived, and my body didn't get the message that I didn't want to go into heat. My brother had nursed me back to health, but then I became a bargaining chip.
A walk in the woods to enjoy my last moments of freedom before being forced into a new bond almost became the last thing I ever did. The only thing more terrifying than the bear who tried to kill me was the monster who decided I was his prey.
He was different enough I didn't feel like I was betraying my lost mate when he declared he was keeping me for himself, and there was a connection I couldn't deny.
Why wouldn't I let him claim me as his prize?
***This is the third book in the Monsters in the Mountains series, but it can be read as a standalone. It features a mature heroine overcoming grief to move on with her life.***

Pretty good
Before I go on let me say that I’ve grabbed the other books in this series. Because I’ve been drawn in.
Monster’s Prey was a pretty good, quick read. It’s my first venture into the “Omegaverse” so forgive me, but I needed the who, what, why, where, and when’s of the monsters and the humans. Details, the more I have the better I can visualize the story. Im interested in and really wanted to visualize this story!
