After a nearly fatal encounter with a vampire, a new entity has captured the attention of Detective Graves. Although it is unclear what exactly the being is, Graves believes he is dealing with a far more powerful force than ever before. Now unemployed and without resources, he must rethink his approach to investigation as bodies pile up once again.

In opposition, CEO Mike Lomax sees the spirit as capital to be utilized for personal gain. Determined to let nothing get in his way, the ruthless and calculating businessman will either find a way to work with Detective Graves or destroy him.
