Mr. Cowboy

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

While this is a part of a series, you really don't have to read the prior ones to fully understand and enjoy this one. I have read all of the prior ones as this author is one of my absolute favorites.

This book took me a little bit longer than it normally would for one of this size. It wasn't because I had troubles reading it BUT cause the scenes were so eloquently written. I had to read and re-read portions as they truly captured me. There were great highs and lows here. Funny scenes and sad ones as well. I was an emotional wreck at times. I don't watch any reality TV but I really felt like I was watching one here.

The plot was so enchanting in the way the author put this second chance romance together. Bonnie gave up the love of her life for her dreams of making it big in Hollywood. Actually she just asked Sean to come with her or to wait. At such a tender age, this was crushing for Sean. He felt like Bonnie was not putting him first. Coming in second or even being abandoned, for him was soul-shattering. His parents gave into their addictions and he and his two brothers were placed up for adoption. The Hendersons of course adopted all three. Unfortunately the brothers lost first their "mother" to cancer and then their "father" to a broken heart.

Can these two overcome their history and finally get their HEA? Will Sean be forced by the producers to pick someone other than Bonnie to "propose" to (even if it is just for show and they wouldn't have to get married)? If his has to, will Bonnie understand knowing it is just a "Hollywood" effect and Sean doesn't want to? Or will Sean forgo his cash prize that was going to his dream of a wild horse rescue? Wow so much here to figure out!!!!

This is a sexy read so just a word of caution. There really isn't much to those scenes so you could skip over those to read this fabulous second chance romance with a smokin' HOT cowboy.

This was an adorable love story with an added fun layer of the reality show. However, there were so many typos it was hard to read at some points. Leaves me to wonder if this version was even proof read at all.

Mr. Cowboy is an romantic second chance story that takes place during a reality show of a cowboy looking for a wife. Sean is the cowboy who is looking for a wife and wants to start a family. Bonnie is his high school love that choose a career in acting instead of marriage is one of the contestants. I loved how the town is involved in rooting for Sean to pick Bonnie but Sean wonders if Bonnie is on the show just to revive her acting career or him. Surprise, laughter and comedy is through out the book. This is such a fun book to read and I could not put it down. I highly recommend reading this book.
