I enjoyed this Maggie Newberry #6 mystery. It was a bit complicated and not quite logical at times. Had a nice surprise ending.
Murder in nice
Enjoyed the depth of character for each of the antagonist and protagonist. Enjoyed the French interspersed with the English, and the descriptions of the scenery. Enjoy the intergenerational.
No one is happy.
I get tired of reading about everyone’s problems. This is the second book I have read from this author and I remember feeling the same with the first. Story has so many nasty people it gets old. Too many crazy people. She is a good writer but just a depressing book.
