My Bad Decisions

It's been awhile since I have had a 5 star review, but this book was cake. Chocolate molten lava cake with chocolate syrup and ice cream on top. It was so good, and yet so bittersweet. This is the last book in the On My Own series, and Ms Ryan saved the best for last. The bad boy and the virgin, what could go wrong? Oh, just everything.

Let's just start with dang both of those families are truly screwed up and I'm still trying to figure out how these two turned out as sane and normal as they are.

Then we have the oopsie. Although it was not planned, I was proud of how they handled it and how Tanner stepped up instead of just walking away. Life threw them a curveball, and yet they managed to hit a homerun.

Finally, I was proud of Natalie's father and the fact he stood up to his wife and took Natalie's side. Granted it was after a horrible confrontation, but at least he came to his senses and realized she is his daughter and grandchild.

Aaron Shedlock is such a dream to listen to. And he seems to get better with each book he narrates. Emma Wilder has the perfect voice for college age girls and she pulls off the high pitched panic voice so dang well.

Tanner & Natalie are the unlikely duo who have had some tension building for three(!) books!
We discover why Tanner is always working (Magic Mike meets Colorado!) and why Natalie seems to be so prim and proper.
These two finally collide and one bad decision leads to unexpected consequences for this non-couple.
They have a lot of decisions to make and have a lot of obstacles to overcome and you can’t help but cheer for them to make it despite all the differences and backgrounds these two have and you genuinely want them to win.
This is a great conclusion to the series and I hope we get peeks to on these couples again!

This is book 4 in the On My Own series and it features Natalie and Tanner.  Their relationship was kind of friendly, a lot of bickering and yet still very attracted to each other.  We knew these two would eventually get together but their connection was seriously unexpected.  The saying “opposites attract” really applies to them.  They definitely have communication issues though.    

This is a sweet and sexy story.  Although  the story line is good, there was a little too much filler story especially in the first half of the book.  I still enjoyed spending time with all the characters and I look forward to reading more from this author.
