Publisher Description
A story of first love. A gay friends-to-lovers romance between two closeted soccer players.
Carlos Garcia’s cocky, arrogant, and he’s entitled to his big ego. He's an International footballer and a multimillionaire. A huge success on and off the pitch, and he’s got it all.
Joining a new football club, he wants his teammates to like him, especially the one man who sets his pulse racing.
As the quietest guy on the football team, Harry Carter avoids attention. He’s so scared of people finding out he’s gay that he’s made sure there are just clothes in his closet. He has nothing to hide, there’s no history, no past, no secret boyfriend, not even a one-night stand. Ever.
Things are changing. Outside of work, Harry’s best friends are a discreet gay couple, but how is Harry going to keep all the secrets when the new guy on the football team keeps hanging around?
Why exactly does Carlos sit next to Harry at every opportunity?
A romance set in contemporary Britain with a happy ending.

Easy, happy read
Nice story. Reflect changing times. Unlike most books in this genre, in which the chapters and sections catch titles of the character narrating, this book has such titles but the narration is always in the third person. A bit confusing at times.
Opening up to love
This story is sweet and interesting Carlos is sweet and does everything he he can think of to get Harry. Carlos is bi well he only has eyes for Harry. Harry is a sweet virgin who doesn't want anyone to know he is gay but he can't help the way he feels about Carlos. Love the fact you get to see there relationship developed and Harry comes out of his shell. I voluntarily read a arc copy
Sweet and Sexy!!
While their romance started slow, I have to stay that I enjoyed the development of Carlos and Harry's relationship, starting out as friends and moving on to both of them falling in love. The story was sweet and sexy and I loved both of the characters. Harry was raised to believe that being gay is wrong, while Carlos, who had encounters with mostly women, realizes that he's bisexual, but only because he's fallen for Harry. Great story!!
