Nice guy Walter Nash is just an ordinary family man with a high-level finance job at Sybaritic Investments until the FBI recruits him to bring down his money-laundering boss, Victoria Steers. But when Steers realizes his double role and retaliates, threatening everything Nash holds dear, he must transform into a very different kind of crime fighter if he wants to save his family and himself. Author David Baldacci is in his element with Nash, deftly turning the devoted-dad everyman into a tattooed action hero intent not only on survival but also revenge. Great book bad ending
Great book but bad ending. Would like to have better closure
Baldacci is pushing it….
I’ve enjoyed the Author’s other books. Smart, great story lines, wonderful characters and more. This book is mediocre and the story feels “pushed”.
One for the price of two!?
Not one of my favorite from Mr. B……ending the book in the middle of the story really sucks. But the bonus is, now I have to wait until April to read the remaining chapters. I guess David needs the money.
