Never Isn't Long Enough
Totally enjoyed this book! It's a story many can relate to--how a single mistake can turn the promise of youth into a lifelong quest for retribution. It features the doomed romance between a young farm girl and a wealthy older man called to God and commerce. It follows the trajectory of two flamboyant and flawed characters: Pick and Faye and how their brief time together, in the end, imprisoned them both for much of their adult lives.
This book delivers serious messages in a humorous narrative. Look forward to more from this author!
