Good author
Piccirilli has a way of writing that keeps you reading. However, I feel that this story line leaves you wanting. The fine line between reality and hallucination and the multitude of characters within characters can make for a complicated read and draws away from the entertainment value. The ending feels unresolved.
Haunting
Haunting, surrealistic, dense read that somehow manages to be quick. Contradictory, I know. But that's part of the charm of this book. This was my first exposure to the author, and will NOT be my last.
