For five years, Cecilia Morgan’s entire existence has revolved around playing personal assistant to self-centered former NFL quarterback Wade Carter. But just when she finally gives her notice, his father’s health fails, and Wade whisks her back to his hometown. CC will stay for his dad—for now—even if that means ignoring how sexy her boss is starting to look in his Wranglers.
To say CC’s notice is a bombshell is an insult to bombs. Wade can’t imagine his life without his “left tackle.” She’s the only person who can tell him “no” and strangely, it’s his favorite quality. He’ll do anything to keep her from leaving, even if it means playing dirty and dragging her back to Credence, Colorado, with him.
But now they’re living under the same roof, getting involved in small-town politics, and bickering like an old married couple. Suddenly, five years of fighting is starting to feel a whole lot like foreplay. What’s a quarterback to do when he realizes he might be falling for his “left tackle”? Throw a Hail Mary she’ll never see coming, of course.

Nothing But Trouble is book 1 in the Credence, Colorado series by Amy Andrews and a great start to a new series!
Cecelia “CC” Morgan has been former NFL quarterback Wade Carter‘s personal assistant for over five years and she decides it’s time to move on so she gives her notice...to say Wade is done is an understatement. He is determined to get her to change her mind so he takes her to his hometown of Credence to help him finish his book and finally show her there’s more to their relationship than employer/employee...will the Hail Mary work??
Amusing, light hearted, chemistry, humor, small-town romance and a friendship that moves into something more!
Excellent ...... love romance books with a sports team
Great new series!!
I've loved every one of AA's rugby series so when I read the blurb for this one, I was all over it. Football and small-town? YES PLEASE!!
CC is an amazing character and from the very beginning of this story, I was drawn in and wanted to race to the end to see how everything played out for her. Wade is a great character but some of his faults were big for me and I, at times, didn't think he deserved someone as awesome as his PA.
Credence is a fantastic town that I would love to visit. I can't wait to see where this series goes and who gets their HEA next!!
