Matilda Kent’s big mouth has landed her an interview with the one man she hoped to never see again—her high school boyfriend who broke her heart. But, with a promotion on the line, she’s prepared to play nice while dishing the dirt on the guy.
An epic war or words leads to a flurry of action both on the field and between the sheets and this time winner takes all.

Matilda is a journalist and currently writes a fashion column for a magazine. This isn't what she envisioned her journalistic career to be. When the magazine decides they want to write a story on Tanner Stone, a rugby player who happens to be her ex, she cringes at the thought of him being propped up as a saint. This, of course, makes her editor assign the six-article series to her.
Tanner Stone is the captain of his professional rugby team, the Sydney Smoke. He doesn't want to do the article but he's happy to see Tilly again after eight years of being apart. He's determined to win her back and make up for the mistakes of the past.
I love second chance romances but there was something about this one that was missing something. I didn't see how forgiveness could come as quickly as it did. I did really like this book, from the Twitter updates to the back and forth between Tanner and Tilly. I am looking forward to the continuation of this series.

Loved it!
When the dedication alone is worth getting a book, you just can’t go wrong!
If ferment but great
Tanner rough tumble rugby guy, against petite dainty Tilly the reporter. How six articles can end up reuniting said couple. I liked the push and pull of the story.
