Telling of Malcolm “Smithy” Smith and Jessie “JJ” Mays, “Old Flames” is one heck of an emotional punch. Loss and love make for a beautiful tapestry of a story.
Jessie and Malcolm’s love hasn’t been easy—she’s always wanted more than their small town, while he’s always been content with remaining in Pinegrove forever. But despite that, the love is always there. Even when they’re “off”, they can’t stop loving each other. And the chemistry is SO THERE. You spend the entire time reading this book rooting for the two to get their HEA.
Add in lovable, eclectic characters, and you’ve got a story that keeps you wrapped in the pages until the final word, leaving you beyond satisfied.
