Fight or Flight?!
Mia is the mom you can relate to, unfortunately her zest for life is not there. She is getting through the day. Mia is divorced, has a teen daughter and works full time while also working at the book store. Her idea for the Christmas fundraiser has been taken over by another bookstore and she needs to come up with another.
Alex is divorced, travels for work, and can’t get Mia out of his kind. He happens to be in the area and stops by the bookstore she works at. He makes a deal with Delaney, Mia’s sister because she sees something in Mia she hasn’t seen in awhile.
A great read especially for the holidays. This will restore your hope for love.
