Good overview of Financial Strategy

Ordinary People, Extraordinary Wealth is a good overview of why some people just don't seem to get ahead when it comes to finances and financial planning. I consider myself somewhat savvy in this area but this book already made me change my views in certain aspects and I realize I have more work to do. Ric covers pretty generalized topics in this book but important none the less. It's good if you are just starting to invest in the market or already invested but looking to batten down the hatches a bit. He gives a brief history of the 1929 depression and also why it isn't likely to happen again...at least in the same pattern.

Overall, it's a good book and it made me want to go out and purchase another of his books that hopefully will help me on my quest to further hone in my financial planning. I give it 4 stars but I believe his book that I am reading now about IRAs and 401(k)s will be getting 5 stars.
