Fun and imaginative
Joey Whitmore was well on her way to becoming an elite gymnast until an accident changed her life. Now she's over forty, overweight, divorced, jobless, and down on herself. Then she gets a second chance. The story is imaginative and funny, and I liked the theme of Joey learning from her past mistakes and taking responsibility for her life choices. If you like fantasy and an imaginative time travel story with a likeable heroine You'll enjoy this one!
Fabulous start to a new series
Fabulous start to a new series! Joey thinks her whole life would be much better if she hadn’t been injured as a teen. A bargain with a faery prince allows her to go back to in time. Nicely developed characters and a nice twisty plot with no slow spots make for a delightful listen. The narrator is top notch. I enjoyed this audiobook and am looking forward to the next in the series. I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook and chose to write a voluntary, unbiased review.
