Well Played
Played by the Master by Opal Carew is the first book in the Mastered by series. (I'll be reviewing all of them here!) And in this first installment, we find Jacquie. She is desperate to help her pregnant sister's husband get out of hot water with his boss, Race Danner, billionaire owner of Danner Industries. It seems her brother-in-law was facing charges for something he didn't do, and Jacquie needed to convince Mr. Danner to drop the charges.
She decides to ask for a favor and gets herself into Danner's high stakes poker game. Instead of being kicked out for not being on the invite list, Race decides to play a much more private game with Jacquie where the stakes are very different.Can she get the charges dropped? And just what will she be bargaining with?
You'll have to get the book to find out. And you'll be glad you did. Played by the Master was a fun, very hot and sexy enjoyable read. It was somewhat short, but I like stories like that. A quick, romp with a sexy billionaire. Who wouldn't enjoy that? And Opal is a terrific writer, so you know the sex scenes will scorch right off the pages
