Publisher Description
I don’t use his safeword.
One night of explosive pleasure, that's all I can risk. I've seen the toll a bad boy can take on a woman, so even though submitting to him is addictive, I flee. There was no way I could know about the deadly power he wields outside the bedroom.
He let me believe I escaped.
Until he kidnaps me.
The mafia family he belongs to would put my parent’s criminal empire to shame. Lurking behind his captivating smile is the seething snarl of an assassin. He says he knows what’s good for me, but the ropes around my wrist beg to differ. His triumphant grin twists my soul into knots and makes my heart race with desire. He promises he’ll protect me from the wrath of my family.
All I have to do is vow to be his.
Forever.
This is a safe but dark romantic suspense standalone novel. You'll love it if you read books with age gap romances, where safewords are respected, kidnapping is a healthy sign of obsession, and sexy Bratva men take possession of what—and who—they want. Check the look inside for the full cw/tw.

Dark and dangerous
Let’s see - mafia romance, age-gap, bdsm, captor/captive, and there are probably more that just don’t pop up right now but this is a well done story that unites a dark and dangerous man with the woman that is just right for him, even if he has to cage her to keep here. The chemistry was off the charts, the characters were well suited and their world was a minefield that he is determined to protect her from. I loved the pace and the characters and the story line kept moving. Fast read, a bit dark but not too over the top. Well worth the time it too for me to power through it in one sitting because I couldn’t stop!
She was always in the fire
This book was interesting even though the whole kidnapping was a bit much. With the way Hartley was raised I thought she would have had a different reaction. Plus after being so careful she kept getting herself in bad situations. I really didn’t understand what was her father’s issue because that just seemed to be an extreme point of view towards your child.
