Anton and Annette, Oh My!
The fourth installment in the Pleasure House world certainly doesn’t disappoint. Love learning some history of how the house was founded and the beginnings of the business as well. As with all of the books in this series it can be read as a stand alone.
Stockholm syndrome. Very upsetting.
The subject matter was very brutal on how the women are treated. It’s hard to rate this story. It’s not that the author did anything wrong in her telling of the story or that her writing skills were bad. The story is so deplorable and the treatment of the women by the 4 men was so degrading and unconscionable. I’m sure this is how the women who are captured by sex slavery people are treated. The damage that’s done is sticking. The Stockholm syndrome comes to mind in Annette’s story too.
Kinky and sexy
Excellent book by Kitty Thomas. Just like all her other books that I have read so far.
This book is about Anton and Annette’s relationship.
So what I understood, it is set up in the Pleasure House world. I have not read any books from that world yet. However all books are standalone and you can read Pretty Lies without reading the other books first (just like I did). And also they can be read in any order, which is great. With that being said I cannot wait to dive into the rest of these books as I really liked Pretty Lies.
So it starts with Anton buying this huge house (mantion) with three of his friends. They are going to train women in this house and sell them as slaves, but these women will know what they getting into and they will be willing to do this. So I am assuming the rest of the Pleasure House books are in the same house and most likely about the other three friends of Anton.
Annette came to the house as a trade for her sister. Anton really likes her and want her to be his pet (more then just a slave) and he is keeping her for himself.
Anton is definitely a bad boy. But the way Kitty write the book I kept changing my mind about him. I couldn’t decide if he was really bad/mean person, or if he was good. Didn’t know if I like him or not and the same goes for Annette.
The book is really kinky, dirty with a lots of sex, humiliation but at the same time tenderness and feelings.
I really enjoyed this book and I recommend it to anyone that likes kink and hot dangerous alphas.

I am now ready for the rest of Pleasure House books, can’t wait to see what you did with all of the other couples.
