Pride Revisited

A collection of Original Stories based on the 1813 novel Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. These are book-based 'interludes' the events of which fit into Austen's narrative at various points generally without changing the original plot. They feature your favorites from the book: Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy; but also offer character glimpses of Georgiana Darcy, Colonel Fitzwilliam, Charlotte Lucas (Collins)and many other familiar friends and nemeses as well.

Stories range from light-hearted humour to romantic moments to all-out fantasy. There are proposals, misunderstandings, mistaken identities, parlour games and more! Any story not strictly book-faithful is identified as such: post-P&P, or pure fantasy.

Whether you have read Pride and Prejudice once, or have revisited it again and again - anyone who hates to turn that last page will find something to delight in these offerings! And, there is a bonus! A preview chapter of a novel, working title Principles of Pride, to be published late in 2013.
