Publisher Description
An opposites attract story.
Impulsive, unpredictable, unexpected.
Just a few words that describe Tabitha Miller. And those descriptions are exactly why she can’t find love in the small town of Harland Creek.
But when she ends up on a blind date that quickly turns into a disaster, a familiar face from her past swoops in and saves the day…much to her chagrin.
Cautious, predictable, prepared
Neal McLean is nothing if not always prepared. From his job to his relationships. He has no desire for love but when he sees Tabitha in need of a hero, he can’t help but come to her rescue.
Now they are stuck together trying to solve one of his biggest cases.
Where some women would run from danger, Tabitha rushes in.
Though their chemistry is undeniable, can they overcome their differences and find a love that will last a lifetime?
Customer Reviews
A fun, cute, small town romance.
What a fun and cute, small town romance!!
Tabitha is so funny, and she and Neal (he’s so serious) were complete opposites that made a great couple. It was filled with witty banter between the two of them. Not to mention Neal’s Great Dane, Henrietta. She brought lots of laughs into the story. But it was also filled with suspense and arms dealers. It got pretty intense.
This is my first story by this author, but I’d definitely read more of what she writes!
Sweet and funny
I LOVED this book! The characters, Neal and Tabitha were very likable and so, so funny! I thought the way Tabitha interjected herself into Neal’s life was adorable. And enough sexual tension, Oh Boy! Tabitha is an independent, stubborn woman who knows her mind. Neal seems like a cantankerous person who doesn’t know how to “relax” until Tabitha enters his life.
It was a fast read and once I got into it it was very difficult to put down. Highly recommend this book.. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Opposites Attract Romance
Tabitha has been a hilarious side character in the previous books in this series so I was excited when she received her own story. She was just as funny in this book. I could tell she and Neal had a connection in Allison’s story. But he’s very by the book and she likes to make her own rules. He comes to her aid in a situation she was handling in her own way and she ends up roping herself into one of his investigations. She’s very intelligent with a lot of deductive skills, but lacks common senses at times and her impulsiveness could cost them everything. I loved Neil’s dog with two names.
