Publisher Description
The story of my life isn't pretty. I come from the wrong side of the tracks. I've been a criminal. I've been homeless. I almost killed my father, and I might be responsible for the death of my best friend.
I should not be wanting Evangeline.
Her life story is the stuff of dreams. She's America's sweetheart - beautiful, talented, and famous - and she doesn't want anything to do with me. I'll protect her from a stalker since it's my job, but that's all I'm allowed. No touching, no lusting, no falling in love. I'm all wrong for her, and she's completely off-limits.
But I've never been good about following the rules.
Protecting the Movie Star was originally published as Home Bound. It has since been expanded, revised, and re-edited.

Great ending to a great series
Cole and Evangeline are the quinticential example of opposites attract. This gruff guy from "the wrong side of the tracks" has a bad attitude about Evangeline, who he thinks is a snobby princess. He couldn't be more wrong!
There were times when that giant chip on Cole's shoulder was a distraction for me and my otherwise love of Mr Grumpy. But if sweet Evangeline...who was by no means a pushover...could forgive him for that attitude, them what chance did I have!?
Four very different H/h stories, connected by a fallen comrade, each with a unique trope. All can be read alone, but I recommend reading them in order.
Loved Cole
Loved , loved Cole. He always felt like a failure in life and now he has been sent to protect movie star, Evangeline from a stalker. He is not happy about this assignment but there is an instant chemistry between them, but he knows she is off limits. Evangeline acts upon the chemistry, but Cole knows it will be temporary, since everything has been a failure in his life.
Great characters that I loved. My heart broke for Cole, he has lead a tough life. A little mystery of who the stalker was against Evangeline, kept me turning the pages.
A great conclusion to this series, wrapped it real well. This is a stand alone story but recommend that you read in order to understand the friendship of these Protectors.
Highly Enjoyable!!
This story was exciting, suspenseful and a little sexy. Cole and Evangeline relationship is full of angst, guilt and misunderstandings which leads to a lot of really great dialog! I also liked that the underlying suspense was drawn out enough but wasn't easy enough to guess who the villian is! Great read!
