En route, she meets Jean-Luc de Villiers, a French-American hottie whose father owns the chateau, and who would be so easy to fall in love with if he weren't already taken. Lizzie discovers sixteenth-century wineries, kir royals and vintage Givenchy dresses stored in the attic, while matching wits with Jean-Luc's ambitious girlfriend. Although blunt dialogue about oral sex adds a titillating edge, the book is sweet to the core.

I know it’s fiction, but I can not believe someone would be as stupid as Liz. She is not a likable character and I do not care what happens to her. I probably will not finish this book.

I am a huge fan of the shopaholic series. You never think books can compare to those; however, I enjoyed this book so much I couldn't wait to read the next one!
