Like the overall story but didn’t stick the landing
The first third was a bit jarring with how it was jumping through past time, assuming you remember everything from the first novella. Enjoyed the larger story it was telling but the last 5-7 chapters were incredibly predictable, to the point it was boring at times. I really enjoyed the first one, so plan to read the next but that can be a make it or break it for going any further.
