Absolutely beautiful!!
This was a really palpable rendition of how friends can become (the best) lovers. Sienna had always loved Toby but he was oblivious to her feelings. He was so caught up in himself that he couldn't look beyond the superficial...in himself nor Sienna.
It took a tragic accident and a past teammate to show Toby what he didn't want to become. And had his accident not happened he would have likely been just like his past teammate. Toby had to prioritize, decide what was really important in life. He had to learn that "some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers."
Definitely a must read. Loved it!!
