And she must learn to trust the one person capable of breaking down the walls around her.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
The first book in Karen Lynch’s YA series introduces us to Sara Grey, a headstrong high-schooler with a secret supernatural life: her best friend’s a troll, six-inch imps infest her bedroom walls, and a murderous vampire is obsessed with her. Smart, eerie, and darkly fun, Relentless combines an action-horror plot with a coming-of-age arc to create a gothic fairy tale set in the modern adolescent world. Lynch pulls off this genre mashup impressively—it’s a thrilling read.

What a book!!!
It started a little slow for my personal taste, but became a serious addiction 1/3 way through. I love the dynamic of all the characters and I think Miss Lynch did a great job setting up certain situations that happened later in the book and will happen in the next book. I am having trouble waiting until December! I need it now!!!!!
This trilogy quickly jumped to the top of my favorites. It’s so good! I love the twists and turns, the action, the drama, the characters, everything. I’m sad the story ended. I wish there were 10 more books. You can tell how much planning went into the plot. The author did an amazing job of connecting everything, nothing felt careless or aimless. It was all building to the climax. I’ve read so many books and have thought, “Why put that in the story? It’s unimportant.” Not once did I feel that way with these books. It all came together in a neat and tidy package that left me intrigued.
I would recommend this to anyone!
I read the entire series and would definitely recommend.
