Repatriation

What is the homeland of the poet––the poet not only as a maker of poems, but the poet as a human being and, at the same time, a citizen of the social and physical world? How do these life areas intersect? And is there something new––a new homeland, perhaps––created at that intersection?


This collection of poems examines these fundamental issues and attempts to map a small corner of the possible new homeland.
