Oh My Gosh!
First book I’ve rated a 5 star. I love to see a heroine that thinks before rushing headlong into danger. It is much appreciated, job well done. Mahalo!
Just meh
The story moves very slowly and the dialogue is a stilted through-back to the Victorian era.

Too much content that wasn’t needed which made it a slow read. I started skimming just to get past the boring sections. Would’ve been better if there would’ve been more dialogue between characters. It still had a decent plot. Some of Kyra’s dialogue seemed that of a young teenager instead of her supposed age.
