Good book
I really enjoyed this book! Spencer and Kenna’s chemistry literally leaps off the page while he is the protector for her in this small town. Between the intrigue, romance and suspense as well as the books fast pace, I had a difficult time putting it down.

Helping her
Spencer is a GHOST operative at the Kentucky base and is trying to help with an installation being interred with. Kenna is there to help her father that has heart issues. She needs to serve a process order but her hurt and Spencer is told to help her. He does and things start happening that makes him stick to her side to keep her safe especially as they are falling for each other! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I love so much about this story!
Kenna is a process server and she has a difficult job to do. Her determination just might be her downfall. The men of Hickory Hills use their fists first and ask questions later.
Spencer is a protector. And he knows well that the leader of Hickory Hills and his gang of minions are nothing but trouble. But Spencer and his fellow GHOST operatives are trying to come to a peaceful agreement. Kenna just doesn’t understand the dangers in the hills. As her new protector he’s determined to keep her safe. But when she shows up beaten and bruised all bets are off. And when a new threat appears can Spencer keep his promise? Because rescuing Kenna has become his life’s mission.
