Not what I expected
Actually I never heard or read of Tijan’s books. I guess like the other books that I purchased on Apple Books on a whim was that I was intrigued with the hot guy on the book cover 😂😂😂😂!!! This is probably the strangest but kinda hot bad boy meets a quiet but outdoorsy wallflower story. But probably maybe 90% of the time, it kinda dragged a little before it got a little better towards the end. Regardless to say, it did have realistic issues like repressed effects of physical, emotional, and mental childhood trauma & abuse, depression, and wanting to be seen & heard. Of course, as usual there was this unusual voyeur incident in the woods when Aspen witnessed something that she never meant to see but did. Huh, I guess rich guys in high school are horny horn dogs?!?

I always love the invisible wallflower girl x badboy troupe plus assholic/lovable bff that is Zeke. Aspen & Blaise is just the bomb, bomb. I LOVE THEM. I will reread this again.
