Publisher Description
Rodeo cowboy, Dakota Scott, has a problem. His truck has broken down and he's stranded in small town New Mexico. To complicate matters he's picked up another stray, this time a woman who needs his help.

Riding the Line
I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
I didn't finish the book. I had to force myself and finally gave up at 15% of the way in. I typically love Ms. Pearce's work but the female protagonist is just awful in my opinion. I personally would have slapped her silly and left her on the side of the road myself.
I will continue to try and finish this over time. I don't tolerate people like this in real life so I certainly don't want to read about one.
Unexpected love
This is an entertaining story about two people as different as day and night. Dakota and Robin mix like oil and water and yet it is a beautifully written love story. The story describes all of the good and bad that occurs during their unplanned courtship. Their characters are strong and well developed and compliment each other, even when they are at each others throats. I loved the story, sometimes I laughed and sometimes I wanted to cry. This is a great story that is worth reading.
