Rocky Mountain Cowboy

This was a sweet quick read. J.J. Alexander was an Olympic snowboarding star until the fateful crash when he "caught the edge" and tumbled into my biggest rival for gold. The paparazzi painted J.J. in a black way. In the 3 months since the accident, J.J. has gone into hiding. Kate on the other hand is on the week's vacation in h3ll!!!! She never has camped but as a senior editor, she is forced to camp in a tent in the wilderness of Colorado. During the night in the middle of a storm, she rescues a Lab. The next morning she realizes that she is not one for camping and decides to leave and go back into the nearest town for the rest of the week to pamper herself. Plus she needs to find the Lab's owner. Well let's just say that sparks flew and the rest is history! These two have quite the journey to their HEA but it is one that I couldn't put down. I adored Bella the Lab and all the rest of the cast of characters. I haven't read the others' stories but I am definitely intrigued.

I loved the fact that the story was written in my favorite dual POV. Getting into both of the characters' mind and their thought process really help me to understand and identify with both of them.

There are some sexual scenes but nothing too graphic (at least not that I was offended). The author, I think, did a wonderful job in leaving much to the reader's imagination.

I highly recommend this story to anyone.
