I love Dylan and Hailey from Samantha Lind’s new book “Rookie Move.” They are a fun young couple who are very mature and know what they want out of life. They both have goals they want to achieve and they never let distance or work get in the way of their strong relationship.Their love for each other was refreshing and positive and it was a joy to see them so happy. They are a cute couple and I really enjoyed watching them navigate a long-distance romance. Many characters and their families from her previous books are featured in her new book and I was thrilled to see that JC was Dylan’s mentor as well as his neighbor. He was the perfect person to help Dylan acclimate to a life in the NHL. All the wives and girlfriends welcomed Hailey when she visited and she fit in like she had been there forever, which eased Dylan’s mind when he had to leave for his road trips. Hailey would have plenty of people to count on if she needed anything. Hailey dreaded going back to school after winter break and she hated missing Dylan’s games and time with his friends. Would this visit with Dylan be enough to get her through the spring semester back in California, or will the distance be too hard for her to handle? Can Dylan reassure her that they will be together soon no matter what happens?
