Publisher Description
'Tis the season… for deliciously bad decisions.
Last Christmas, I made a rookie mistake.
I had a one-night stand with the Denver Kodiaks' new golden boy.
It was hot, reckless, and a play I'll never make again.
At least, that's what I tell myself.
Because forgetting isn't so easy when I work at the team's bar.
When I see him twice a week, grinning, flirting, acting like he doesn't remember.
Now, everyone's favorite rookie is hosting a team holiday getaway, and guess who's stuck on the invite list?
Me. Their favorite bartender.
Cue:
-One secluded cabin
-One massive blizzard
-One too-gorgeous rookie determined to test my limits
I can handle it. I can keep my distance. I can survive a few festive nights in close quarters without slipping up…
Right?
ROOKIE SEASON is a steamy, snowed-in holiday romance set in the Denver Kodiaks world. Devour a new couple's story, plus catch up with all your fave characters! This novella is packed with snowy shenanigans, forced proximity, and enough heat to melt every mountain in Colorado.

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Sometimes the best things come in small packages. Not only do we get a holiday adjacent HEA of one couple, Sierra and Ryan, but we get some extended HEAs of old Denver Kodiak favorites. With that said, this holiday novella is best enjoyed after reading the King of the Court series and the first three books in the Denver Kodiaks series.
Sierra and Ryan's relationship began as a one-night-stand, then after a year of Sierra pretending it never happened, a bit of forced proximity in the form of a snowed in Best-Christmas-Ever friends trip made the simmering attraction reach its boiling point. Gotta love a black cat FMC who tries to push the golden retriever MMC away. But even better, gotta love a MMC who doesn't make his woman change to become his.
This is a spicy and quick read that is told primarily through Sierra and Ryan's POVs, but as a bonus, we get a couple POV chapters from old favorites.
Thank you, Piper Lawson and Valentine PR, for the e-ARC.
