Publisher Description
My name is Rose Madden and I have spent my life being the perfect daughter. Thanks to my daddy, I'm an expert marksman who dresses like some modern day freaking June Cleaver. My life has been perfectly scripted since the day I was born. I've never deviated from the plan—until I met attorney Max Decker. Now he has me doing insane things to get his attention, like grabbing him in his car and being arrested for stalking my ex-boyfriend just so he'll come bail me out of jail. He thinks I'm crazy—but he wants me anyway. Will he still feel the same when fate steps in, revealing my secret shame to him?

A book about love, a fractured childhood and redemption
Rose is one strong woman who acts like a step Ford wife at the age of 23. Her parents control her life. Then comes along sexy Max.......entertaining read
Rose
I’m beginning to think the author has gone thru what Rose went thru. There is no shame in it. Everyone needs a coping mechanism. Life is difficult on a good day. This was a good book
GREAT READ!
I’m not one to write a review because I end up all over the place with all the thoughts I have regarding the book.
However getting to know the Rose behind the walls she has put around herself is great! There were moments where I was willing her to just to jump Max’s bones, moments of tears cause you can feel her pain in the way Sydney writes, moments of laughter because you wouldn’t expect the thing that come out of Rose’s mouth by the way she is described on the outside.
Then there’s Max and if you have ready Lia and Luc’s story you get that picture of this sexy successful business man who doesn’t seem to have a soft bone in his body for anyone who even things of threatening his close close friends and they people they care about. Until Rose comes along and shows you that he is just as big of a softy as Luc!
I do agree with some of the other reviewer’s that Rose’s story does feel rushed and more details could have gone into some parts but I won’t say which cause I don’t want to give any spoilers. Her story is a great read as well. I have yet to be disappointed by a book from Sydney Landon.
Lastly I want to say I get that Rose’s story has nothing to do with Lia Luc’s. Sydney does a great job of showing you through all the characters as to why they were meant to be find each other and all become such close friends and family!
