Publicist Ella Parker is still putting herself back together after witnessing her mother's murder; she's more focused on the new gym account her best friend Andrea has landed than trying to find a new boyfriend. When Rob and Andrea set the two up on a blind date, neither one of them wants or expects anything to happen but as their personal and professional lives become intertwined, the emotional walls keeping them safe from each other and the outside world break down. The protagonists' alternating perspectives provide an interesting balance to the plot, though the two voices often sound similar. Powerful plot revelations overshadow emotional development, requiring the reader to believe in a purely physical foundation for Ben and Ella's relationship, but the strong story design gives hope for Madden's future books.

Enjoyable read!
This was an enjoyable read. The first quarter of the book is both of them denying each other despite their attraction. There was just a little bit of OW drama in the beginning but resolved very quickly. Once they stopped fighting the attraction they were devoted to each other. It got a bit cheesy at that point but then the plot twist came into play and I enjoyed the suspense. It had a great ending and epilogue.

This is one hell of a good book!! I loved it and I loved the characters in it, I highly recommend it and believe me I will read more of your books if they are anything like this one, I don’t find too many books like this one that I like to read but you came thru for me, Thank You!!
More to the story than you think...
I must say this is one of the best books I've read lately. It's a great love story in the midst of some dramatic events. The writing was fluid and the characters were genuine. Stone is hot! A must read...
