Suspenseful and intriguing, one of those books you can’t put down. Did I really need to finish the laundry and get eight hours sleep? Turns out, no. Enjoyed the story very much.
Outstanding
As usual, Elise outdoes herself, and the latest book in the ongoing series is just as unique as the others. You'll be left on the edge of your seat, pleading for more. I couldn't put it down. If you're wavering, buy this. It's a fantastic read!

Roses are Dead is a romantic suspense novel in the Blackwood UK series but it can be read as a standalone novel. I highly recommend reading all the books in the series, in order, for maximum enjoyment, but each book really can be read as a stand-alone. Also, Roses are Dead weaves in a few of the Blackwood Security Series characters, like Emmy & Nye, so reading that series before or after Roses are Dead is also highly recommended! :) PS. Of course, I want a Suki & Jason book next! If I could, I’d give this book 10 Stars!!!
NOTE TO READERS: Roses are Dead is Book 2 in the Blackwood UK Series, which is NOT part of the Blackwood Security Series; however, some characters (like Emmy & Nye) do make an appearance! YAY! Also, as this is Book 2 in the Blackwood UK series, there are British words (for example: jumper instead of sweater) and British spellings in this book (like favourite), of course! I personally think, as a US reader, that this makes this book and series, delightful! :)
