Publisher Description
From New York Times bestselling author J.T. Geissinger comes Ruthless Creatures, a scorchingly hot mafia romance about two people bound together by a debt that must be collected. No matter the cost.
Now featuring a never-before-seen bonus chapter!
Five years ago, my fiancé disappeared. He left me with a wedding dress I’d never wear. Left me with the kind of scars that can’t be healed. The man I built my future on vanished like a ghost. All that remained were my broken heart and a million unanswered questions.
Until a mysterious stranger arrives in town.
Tall, dark, and dangerous, Kage is as full of secrets as he is sex appeal. Though I know he’s hiding something, I’m drawn to him like a moth to flame. Heat crackles between us with every look, desire flares into passion, and I fall hard, helpless to resist.
But then I discover he’s been sent to collect on an unpaid debt from my missing fiancé....
And that debt is me.

HOT!! HOT!! HOT!!
This is the first review I have ever written, but I can’t recommend this book enough!! I have never sat down with a book that I have been absolutely unable to lay down to take a break! From the first page to the last, I never sat it down!! NOT ONCE!! I read it all in one sitting ignoring everyone and everything around me for over 8 HOURS!! Kage is by far the hottest character I have ever read and/or imagined! I am new to the romance genre having only read that “Grey” series years ago, but this makes that entire series look like child’s play!! 1000/10 will recommend! Now I am torn…is sleep is really worth it? Or should dive into the next book of the series…
Fifty Shades Of Grey’s younger sibling.
That’s the best comparison I have. It’s an easy read and the wit is fantastic! The book takes a turn in the middle to a sappy trope romance and the wit becomes groan worthy banter; just need to move past it to find out what actually happens to the characters and the story. Some of the hot moments become akin to a random guy messaging you an unprovoked picture. Sometimes a little too crass and forced.
Can’t recommend enough!
I’m on chapter 18 and I had to come back to tell everyone that sees this to read this book or at least keep in on your tbr list. The plot 🤌🏼 the spice 🤌🏼 the male protagonist 🤌🏼. Just good stuff all around.
