My runaway bride. My rebellion. My forever.
I’m Matteo Moretti.
The underboss.
The heir to a brutal legacy. The man responsible for keeping the peace between powerful mafia families.
My marriage was supposed to secure that peace.
Instead, my bride ran.
Alessia DeLuca vanished across the ocean, hiding among artists and dreamers like she could escape the life she was born into.
But she underestimated one thing.
Me.
I hunt her down.
I carry her out kicking and screaming.
And I bring her back where she belongs.
At my side.
In my house.
In my bed.
She was supposed to be duty. A political marriage. A necessary sacrifice.
But my rebellious bride refuses to obey.
She challenges me.
Defies me.
Tempts me until control turns into obsession.
And the more she pushes me away, the more determined I become to claim what’s mine.
Because Alessia DeLuca may think she can run from this marriage.
But I’ll chase her across the world as many times as it takes.
A Moretti always collects his vows.
Even the savage ones.

Customer Reviews
A little better
Almost a five star rating for the second installment of the Moretti Mafia saga. The first few chapters with Matteo and Alessia’s first intense interactions were like the usual push and pull sexual tension between them trying to one up each other with the battle of wills which was pretty much predictable in most forced marriage of inconvenience. You could say it was sort of like a mild soft porn/soap opera somewhat with plenty of dominant sex between Matteo and Alessia before and after they officially fall in love with each other at the end. It was a little better than the first book, I think. The second installment was pretty good.
