Love this series!
Each story in this series is better than the last. I love that the characters are constant, but we focus on a specific couple. This story centers around Jake and Kassi, both veterans who have a shared past. Their coming together is bittersweet with some twists, and so worth the read!.

Stunning and sweet
Saving Jake is a stunning and sweet novella. Kassi is a brave but traumatized veteran struggling to recover physically and emotionally, and she randomly ends up at the same place her ex’s brother now works at. Jake is also a war veteran recovering from his own emotional trauma while helping others. The chemistry between Jake and Kassi is a intense and well-played; author Kaci Rose has developed a sweet, realistic, and touching love story that gracefully yet directly addresses the real-life issues that veterans face when they return home. Loved this one, and can’t wait for Caden’s story!

Saving each other
They both have their own issues, love how they let their connection gradually grow and let their friendship develop deeper. Good story with a little bit of history they need to work with family and working through the past. Loved all the support from friends family and the support dogs who work tirelessly in their pivotal roles.
