Captivating Story

What an awe inspiring story of healing, love, and helping others! I was hooked from the beginning and could not put the book down. Ms. Rose has created some wonderful characters and friends and family to support them.

Lexi and Noah actually are healing each other as their friendship grows and they spend more time together. Noah’s scars are not only visible but emotional, and he has a hard time accepting that Lexi will continue to be there to support him. But Lexi doesn’t care about the physical damage as she just wants to be friends and lend support to Noah. So much so that Noah doesn’t even know about Lexi’s scars as they are all on the inside, emotional scars due to loosing her military husband and the dreams they had. These two are perfect for each other emotionally, intellectually, and physically. Together, they create an awesome team doing great things for the community.

This book is an honest look into what happens when a service member has a career ending injury. It opens your eyes to what goes on after the day of injury, how long it takes to heal to get out of the hospital, and the fact that healing isn’t complete just because you left a medical center.

Really good

This was such a great emotional story. Kaci really seems to capture the emotional turmoil that Noah experiences ever since that IED went off and changed his life forever. From the second chapter I got sucked into the story and I’m looking forward to reaching some more books in this series

Perfect start to a new series.

This series hits the ground running! Lexi and Becky are not only lifelong best friends, but also sisters in law. When Becky’s husband, Lexi’s brother is injured by an ied both women go to Germany to be with him. Lexi does not expect to meet the man that saved her brother’s life and ultimately become his caretaker and so much more. This story was written with so much heart and emotion at times it was hard to read. I just love Lexi’s soul and her can do spirit that I kept reading. I so look forward to Easton’s story!
