sickeningly riveting
difficult to get through, pulls at every emotion a mother could possibly have. a love uncompared even in the wake of such a horrible beast.
Gut wrenching
This book had me in a chokehold. I couldnt put it down and the end.. messed me up. Its a must read.
I don’t know how to feel after finishing?
I started to put the book down because I couldn’t find empathy for the mother…. But I needed to know how the story ended so I finished reading. I have much more compassion for her now that I’ve finished the book. Honestly, it’s heartbreaking when I think about it from her perspective. On the other hand, I’m happy for Noah and his decision. He felt what he felt and ultimately decided his only way of being at peace would be to make a decision most of us probably couldn’t imagine making. ***TW*** I only gave it 2 less stars because of the detailed accounts of vomiting
