Clayton gives insight to the murders from a detective’s point of view which has Ryker liking him a lot. Clayton quickly learns that the love of his life is not who she appeared to be and takes it in stride. He will do all he can to help catch the murderer, while making sure his Mags is well protected....

WOW/INCREDIBLE fast paced well written creative read by a truly gifted author. This Black Hills murder series is fascinating and I wait with bated breath to find out who this psycho is. The characters come alive with the fantastic dialogue, plot and vivid scene descriptions. I so loved Clayton, his intelligence and alpha persona make him a force to be reckoned with. Mags is a gentle soul, but also has a bit of a fiery temper. The chemistry between Clayton and Mags sizzles, and is filled with unwavering devotion. I absolutely relished this story, as it was a most exhilarating read. If you treasure shifter romance with awesome characters and a fantastic mystery this is a terrific book for your library. {I received a copy of this book for a completely honest review}. In the world of shifter romance the possibilities are endless and always fascinating. Without reservation I recommend this book and the series.

Hold On To Your Hat For This One!
GOODNESS GRACIOUS! HOLY MOLY!! Rebecca Royce pen is golden, a Best Seller if I ever read one! I absolutely enjoyed reading this series. This a multiple authors project and they are ALL AWESOME!! You will not be disappointed as usual. Rebecca is one of my all time favorite author and she always set the bar high and this series as well as the other authors isn't any different. This is Book 39 of The Black Hills Wolves series and it's a Fabulous addition! I'm in love with all 38 books, but book 39 is now my all time favorite and what a story! I couldn't stop reading once I started it, it's that SPECTACULAR! This book is well-written and a perfect example of entertainment at its best! There is murder, romance, suspense and mystery it's got it all. This storyline is beyond my words it's so great and enjoyable but it will have you on the edge of your seat with excitement as you keep you turning the pages until the end. The scenes are so very vivid with details that pulls you the reader right into the story. The characters are well developed and the dialogue is fantastic and entertaining! OMG! I must say it again, what a absolutely fantastic book!

Magnolia Holden (Mags) is a Omega Wolf shifter who lives with her parents who was thrown out of the Los Lobo pack by the enforcer Ryker it was to protect her from the old alpha but the family had no idea that Ryker was protecting Mags. The family now runs a dress shop in Sioux Falls. One day when passing the coffee shop she bumps into a author Clayton Davies and he is her true mate but Mags doesn't feels she can be with him. So she meets him for coffee everyday for a few minutes. Sometime situations causes Mags to unable to control her wolf, this occurs but when Mags gets to father to help her he is also upset but not about the same thing as Mags. When they had to leave Los Lobo; Betty Mags older sister refused to go. But Meg's parents get a call informing them that their pregnant daughter needs them, because her mate Drew's immortal life is endangered.

Clayton Davies is a best selling author who use to be in Law enforcement. Clay doesn't like people that much because of all the stuff he witness as a Cop. One day he bumps in too this shy girl or so he thought at time. After the chance meeting, he drives the hour and a half journey from his cabin every day just to spend a few minutes talking to her. But one day he kissed her and she ran away and now he hasn't seen her for three days. Clay is now restless, he can't sleep and he needs to talk to Mags.

This so addictive, suspenseful and things are changing fast, that it may not be for the better. There is a investigation of Drew's shooting and the murders of human mates continues. There is the hunt for a serial killer and everything is about to come to a head. This is so EXCITING! I can't wait to read the next book in this fabulous mystery. I honestly loved reading this book and I recommend it to everyone. This will be a Magnificent addition to your TBR list. It's a Must Read!
