Stolen Glances
WOW! This one will pull you in from the start! Each of these novellas are a quick read and could be read as a standalone HEA, but I recommend reading the complete series in order to get the little tidbits of background information on everything.
Although Matt, a bear shifter was a young boy when he was taken off the beach at Applecross Bay, his childhood home with his brother and parents, he still remembers the day he was taken by the woman who raised him as her own. Because he doesn't understand why his mind plays outlandish delusions on him and makes him think he turns into a bear, after she died he became a recluse. Being a freelance writer helped and he only answered the door when he had things delivered. He was afraid of someone moving into the empty place next door, he liked being alone. However fate had other ideas, once he seen her, he couldn't stop thinking of her. Then she brought him a gift and left it on his front porch. Why can he sense where she is?
Leah needed a change from the city, having her Internet business making homemade bath products made it easy to make and ship from anywhere. The quiet town of Gartcosh, a sleepy village near Glasgow, was just the place to start fresh. Her neighbor Carrie came to introduce herself quickly and told her that their neighbor on the other side was reclusive and she'd probably never meet him. Leah didn't like that idea and decided to make an attempt to meet him. After leaving him a gift on his door, she waited for him to make the next move, and he did, he emailed her a simple thank you, which started their correspondences. They conversed each night before going to bed, until the night someone broke into Leah's house and tried to take her.
Matt realizes it's not just in his head and he's not alone. However, he finds out a whole lot more than he ever thought possible. What happens with Leah and Matt? You'll have to read Scottish Werebears: A New Beginning to find out, but it'll be worth the time you take to read it! I can't wait to read Book 5 Scottish Werebear: A Painful Dilemma to find out what happens next! I received an ARC copy via IndieSage in exchange for a blog tour review. Due to sexual content this novel is recommended for readers 17 and older!
