Good read! I appreciate the storylines with older characters. Will enjoy reading the rest of the series.
Missing depth
I really wanted to like this book but there just wasn’t any depth to the main characters or their relationship. She had a crush but it was entirely centered around her dad’s relationship to the guy, and then he just suddenly loved her and wanted to settle down where he never did before. We barely got any thought processes or growth. There were statements, but never deep emotion.
