Former Navy SEAL, Sawyer Johnson’s career as a SEAL is over. He’s the survivor of an attack that killed two of his buddies and cost him the use of his left hand. Out of the military and aimless, he receives a job offer and a ticket to fly to Colorado Springs. On the flight, he meets a woman who is moving to Colorado to free her brother from a militant group. Intrigued, he realizes her problem is a perfect challenge for the Brotherhood Protectors, his new place of employment.
Kinsley Brothers is a take charge, Physician Assistant and devoted big sister. When her brother gets caught up in a radical survivalist group, she pulls up stakes and moves to Colorado to rescue her sibling from the dangerous and charismatic leader of the cult. In over her head, she gladly accepts an offer of assistance from the Brotherhood Protectors.
Assigned to aid and protect Kinsley, Sawyer has his job cut out for him with the headstrong woman who is used to doing things her way. To get her brother out, they must infiltrate the cult’s mountain hideout. The ticking timebomb they discover will take the entire team to diffuse.
I love Elle James! And she has another winner with Tactical Takeover. Kinsley Brothers leaves her PA job in Savannah to go to Colorado to find her brother who seems to have gotten himself involved in something over his head and is now missing. On a flight on the way there she runs into a Navy SEAL, Sawyer Johnson, going to the same place. His career was cut short due to an injury while on a mission and after talking to Hank Patterson, he is now going to meet with Cog of the Colorado branch of the Brotherhood Protectors. Of course his first case is helping Kinsley try find her brother Derek. Definitely a page-turner and a great book! Loved this book.
Characters are always amazing!
This is book 4 in the Brotherhood Protectors Colorado series and it features Kinsley and Sawyer. These two had such an easy going meet on a plane. Even though it’s sort of an insta-love romance, there is an action packed story line happening in front of it all.
Fantastic but predictable story line. The characters written in this series are always an extreme pleasure to read about. I look forward to reading whatever comes next for this author.
