But his fierce attraction to her makes him want to uncover her secrets, something Dani is determined not to let happen. Ruben turns to winning over her daughters, 13-year-old Silver and six-year-old Mia. When Silver gets in trouble with the law, Ruben steps in and Dani ends up spending a lot of time with the firm but gentle deputy; when his fun-loving family is thrown into the mix, Dani's walls start to crumble. There's not much alone time for Dani and Ruben prior to their confessions of love, and it's hard to see why he keeps chasing someone who constantly rebuffs him, but the anticipation of their union will win fans over.

A sweet Christmas romance
A sweet romance if a young veterinarian who's mom to two girls and ex-wife of a notorious criminal and a deputy who doesn't know feisty moms are his type nor how empty his life is until Dani and her girls fill it.
He has a big heart and penchant for taming rebellious teens with his kind smile, fairness and honest eyes. She's more than twice shy.
This is a fun, family romance, one filled with patience, tradition and wonders of Christmas

Just don't start this one unless you have time to read. It will keep you reading to the end.

Amazing Book
I couldn’t stop reading it. Loved every page of it. As I read the book, I felt that I got to live and enjoy each of the characters’ life. Amazing book.

The plot is more than just romance and a second chance at love! It’s got great motherly reminders about children, patience and forgiveness.
