Elena did it again!! I love these shifter stories!! The love and dedication they have to each other is amazing!! Konner and Dakota didn’t disappoint either. As Konner takes on the job to return the Mafia Princess he became more and more enamored with her. Once he was close it was all over for both of them. Dakota was a little harder to allow the feeling due to her prior life of sadness. She was settling for a life of loneliness to be free of the terrible father but that fateful day in the bar changed everything! The love and devotion they shared was amazing. I just cannot get enough of these shifters!!!

The main characters, Konnor and Dakota, are each complex and fascinating individuals with intricate histories and much to work through. When their worlds collide, the chemistry is off the charts explosive and the path they travel is filled with dynamic experiences. I found myself laughing, crying, groaning, shaking my head, and rooting for them intensely. The supporting characters are each amazing and play their own intricate part in this tale full of twists and turns. Aiken has continues to build a beautifully dangerous and delightful world full of shifters in the Canadian mountains. This book is a page-turner—I simply could not put it down, and I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
